Schmetz needles come in a variety of sizes, either a multi pack of 10,12, 14 or individual sizes 8,10,12,14. They are sharps needles for woven fabrics, not knits and come in packs of 5 needles. Smaller sizes are great for lightweight fabrics (8 or 10). Size 12 is great for medium weight fabrics and the 14 is ideal for heavier weight fabrics, like denim, twill, canvas.  They are strong, long-lasting needles from Germany. They fit almost all home sewing machines.
