There is a sheer black silk organza tacked every few inches to the layer of silk/lurex jacquard  underneath. The lame has a fern flower design woven into it.  The layers cannot be separated, though there is a little movement between the layers.  Has the weight and drape of a brocade or taffeta. Excellent for evening wear including dresses, skirts, corsets and jackets. This fabric would pair well with a black velvet.
